Dr. Rayna Harris is a postdoctoral scholar in the
Data Intensive Biology Lab at UC Davis
She works with a diverse team to provide accessible,
online training in bioinformatics
for scientists and clinicians.
She received a B.S in Biochemistry and
a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from
The University of Texas at Austin.
Rayna currently lives near Lake Tahoe
and also works part-time as
a parking supervisor at a ski resort and
a hostess at a restaurant
to support her snow skiing habit :)
Beginning in January 2023, Dr. Harris will teach at Lake Tahoe Community College as an adjunct faculty member in biology and chemistry.
